Sylon® degradable polyester yarn

Sylon® degradable polyester yarns are prepared by adding biodegradable masterbatches to spinning.

The biodegradable masterbatch is an organic anaerobic biodegradable masterbatch that introduces polymer materials into the microbial degradation stage through chemical activity caused by anaerobic bacteria, leaving only CO2, CH4 and humus. Polymer materials with biodegradable masterbatches can be biodegraded in landfills by anaerobic reaction, as well as in the ocean.

Biodegradable polyester yarn with biodegradable masterbatch can pass the following biodegradation standards at home and abroad:

Landfills anaerobic biodegradation standards: ASTMD5511, ISO15985, GB/T33797

United States Marine microbial degradation standard: ASTMD6691

Compost degradation standards: ASTMD5388, ISO14855, GB/T19277

UK Intertek GreenLeaf green leaf product logo certification.
